Edward Gunawan wrote, produced and starred in Still - a short film that had been screened in over 25 international film festivals and distributed by Frameline Releasing. As a writer, he won the Script Development Competition at the 2006 Jakarta International Film Festival and awarded the Hubert Bals Fund sponsored by the Rotterdam International Film Festival. Born in Indonesia and raised in Singapore, he is now based in Los Angeles, where he just completed his filmmaking fellowship at the Film Independent's signature diversity program Project:Involve, with Academy Award winner Chris Tashima as his mentor.
